Glassy Class, or is it Classy Glass

If you are looking for a gift for a friend or if your mom is a booze hound (reminder mothers day is soon), check out Bread and Badger in Davis Square for homemade etched glass.

She scours craft and thrift stores for vintage vases, shot glasses, and colored candle holders in onyx, cobalt blue, or pale pink. Then, using her artist’s eye, she freehands whimsical designs — stars, anchors, flowers, sea creatures — and ink-inspired skull and crossbones or hearts swathed with “mom” banners.

Each glass piece is one of a kind, so you can be sure you’re expressing your true self.
